Five modules. One honest conversation

What’s inside

  • The beginning. Before anything else, we must acknowledge the truth. The reality of our hurt, our pain, our past, our trauma. Acknowledge it. See it. This comes first.

  • After we acknowledge it, we name it. What are your patterns? What is the role you have played in your pain? This is not a place for shame, but for learning how to break the cycles. Seeing it and naming it for what it is, with honesty and intention.

  • Go out before you go in. Many modern wellness practices go too far without creating safety in the nervous system first. In order to go into the body, we must have the capacity to not get stuck. Grounding, orientation, coming into the present moment is KEY in this work.

  • Of course you don’t know how to be with your body. Of course it is hard to know what your body is telling you. We are taught from a very early age to override our impulses. The practice of noticing what your body is saying, getting curious about it, and sitting with it one moment longer than before is the essence of this work.

  • Let it settle. The integration piece. So many times we want to jump to the next thing, the next healing modality, the next piece we have to believe will help us heal. In this module, we discuss the importance of letting what we just did be enough. Letting the acknowledgment, the naming, the orientation, the building body trust be enough and land fully in the system.
